Last call for order updates - survey deadline is February 12th!

Dear backers,
Just a friendly reminder that the Backerkit survey must be completed by February 12, 2023 in order to receive your pledge rewards by the delivery dates promised on our Kickstarter page. February 12, 2023 will also be the last date you can add extra copies of the game to your pledge, and it will also be the date that the pre-order store closes. This deadline helps us confirm our final count for mass production. You may continue to update your shipping address until March 2nd, 2023.
If you haven’t answered your survey yet, if you fill out your BackerKit survey or pay for extra shipping after the February 12th order due date, we’ll still receive your information but your shipment may be delayed.

Manufacturing Sample Received + Pre-Production Copies Shipped!

We've received our manufacturing sample!
Hey Super Dark backers, we're excited to share that we've received our manufacturing sample of the game! Those of you who are diligently tracking our timeline will note this puts us slightly ahead of schedule - don't tell anyone though! You never know when an unexpected delay will happen...
We're working on final corrections to the production components based on this sample, and are hoping to start mass production a bit earlier than our March target.
Pre-Production Copies Have Shipped

Happy new year everyone! We wanted to share a few updates with you all as we kick off 2023!
Production Updates
As of December 15th, we submitted our final artwork to our manufacturing partner, Herotime - right on schedule!
We are working on preparing pre-production copies for shipment to Pre-production and Hero of Democracy backers. We plan to ship these out before the end of January, but need your help to fill out the Backerkit survey as soon as possible so that we know where to ship to :) If you backed us for a pre-production copy, please fill out your Backerkit survey ASAP so you can get your game on schedule! You should have received an email from Backerkit by now, but if you haven’t, please let us know and we can get this fixed quickly.
Pre-order store is now open for late pledges!
If you missed out on backing Super Dark during our Kickstarter campaign, you can still “late pledge” through our Pre-order store which opens today! You can access the Pre-order store at this link. We plan on closing the store mid-Februrary so that we can finalize our manufacturing count for production. Games will be available for $55.
Note: If you backed the game during the Kickstarter campaign, please do not purchase additional copies on the pre-order store. Instead, use your Backerkit survey link that was emailed to you to place additional orders of the game at a discounted rate. Contact us on Kickstarter or [email protected] if you have questions.
New Candidate Reveal #3 - Danvy Deville
In every update until you have the games in your hands, we will reveal the cards for the candidates that were added to the box because of the campaign. Today we’re excited to introduce you to Danvy - one of our Heroes of Democracy!
Super Dark is a game about powerful, shadowy figures who manipulate democracy…and don’t get us wrong, we love a good bad guy! But we wanted to give the people a fighting chance, and Danvy agreed with us. We think the Citizens are going to love their new champion.

Thank you for your patience as we finalize Backerkit setup!
Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. Backerkit sends the survey link in two rounds, so a few of you should already have received the email with the survey link, while the rest should be receiving it in a day or two!
The survey must be completed by February 12, 2023 in order to receive your pledge rewards in the first wave of shipping. February 12, 2023 will also be the last date you can add extra copies of the game to your pledge. This deadline helps us confirm our final count for mass production. You may continue to update your shipping address and pay for shipping until March 2nd, 2023.

In every update until you have the games in your hands, we will reveal the cards for the candidates that were added to the box because of the campaign. Today we’re excited to introduce you to Luiza - one of our stretch goal candidates!
One of our goals when designing Super Dark was to make it easy to learn, but hard to master. Turn order is one of those things that seems harmless to beginners, but can be devastating in the hands of a pro. Hopefully Luiza’s power falls into the hands of the citizens!
